After the discovery of the famous Fort Boyard, welcome on the Aix island. Small island typical 3 km long and 700 m wide, located about 1 hour by boat from the old port of La Rochelle. The Aix island is lined beaches and coves, it is best explored on foot, by bicycle or horse-drawn carriage. You can visit Napoleon's house, the last workshop of nacre in France, the African museum, and Fort Liédot and Fort de la Rade. For the restoration, you can plan your picnic or enjoy the classic restaurant or fast food on the island.

Departure from La Rochelle in the morning, discovery of the area, navigation around Fort Boyard, stop (ruling) to Aix, return to La Rochelle in the evening.
